SuspectED is an ‘in-field’ resource tool designed by the Torrens Resilience Institute, Flinders University to assist outbreak investigators in health, security and veterinary sectors to identify primary triggers and indicators and provide access to guidance and resources related to suspected deliberate biological events.
It is designed to assist responders in recording contemporaneous notes when encountering a suspicious event, provide better access to guidance in the field, allows for recording field notes and sample collection /description and has the capability to record chain of custody.
Funding for the App was provided by the Govt of Canada, Weapons of Mass Destruction Threat Reduction Program.
